Web Desk (MNN): Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Saturday said the Pakistan Army remained fully focused on addressing both internal and external challenges, including hostile hybrid warfare, extremist ideologies and divisive forces aimed at destabilising the country.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the army chief made these remarks during visits to the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he was briefed on operational preparedness and key initiatives being undertaken to further strengthen combat readiness.
During the visit, Field Marshal Munir observed field training exercises and reviewed an advanced simulator training facility. He praised the formations for maintaining high professional standards and a strong state of readiness.
The ISPR statement said the army chief highlighted the importance of technological adaptability, noting that modern warfare requires agility, precision, situational awareness and rapid decision-making.
Interacting with officers and troops, the CDF commended their high morale and unwavering dedication to national defence. He stressed the need for intensive, mission-focused training to effectively respond to evolving security challenges.
Reiterating the army’s resolve, Field Marshal Asim Munir said the Pakistan Army remained vigilant and prepared to counter all threats, whether internal or external, that seek to undermine national stability.
