Web Desk (MNN); Spotify Wrapped 2025 has arrived, showcasing the artists and songs that defined Pakistan’s listening habits this year. Talha Anjum has once again emerged as the most-streamed Pakistani artist, securing the top spot for the second consecutive year.
Spotify reported a massive 70 per cent increase in Pakistani music consumption this year — remarkable growth for a music landscape once deemed “non-commercial”.
The top 10 lineup includes Umair and Hasan Raheem — who released his second album this year — along with evergreen icons Atif Aslam and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Maanu, Bayaan, Afusic, AliSoomroMusic and Annural Khalid round out the list, representing a new wave shaping Pakistan’s contemporary sound.
The most-streamed Pakistani track of the year is ‘Jhol’ by Maanu and Annural Khalid. Close behind is the heartfelt ‘Pal Pal’ by Afusic and AliSoomroMusic, a breakout hit of 2025. Artists including Hasan Raheem, Umair, Talha Anjum and Rovalio featured prominently across the Top 5 charts.
Bayaan’s album Safar leads the Top Pakistani Albums, while Spotify reports that hip-hop remains the country’s fastest-growing genre with a 35 per cent surge. Defining albums like My Terrible Mind by Talha Anjum x Umair, Rockstar Without a Guitar by Umair, and Open Letter by Talha Anjum x Umair dominated the rankings. At the same time, classics such as Imran Khan’s Unforgettable and Kaavish’s Gunkali continued to resonate with listeners.
