ISLAMABAD (MNN); Chinese Ambassador Jian Zedong called on Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, where the two discussed Pakistan–China bilateral relations and key matters of mutual interest.
Ambassador Jian strongly condemned the suicide attack near the Islamabad District Courts and conveyed condolences over the loss of innocent lives, noting that China’s Foreign Ministry had also denounced the incident.
Both sides agreed to further expand cooperation in counter-terrorism and security. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan and China share a relationship founded on mutual trust and respect, adding that China has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times.
Ambassador Jian reaffirmed that China will continue to offer full support and cooperation to Pakistan.
