Islamabad (News Desk) : In a series of joint operations, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police eliminated nine terrorists across Taunsa Sharif, Bahawalpur, and Lakki Marwat.
In Taunsa, five hardened terrorists were killed and another five injured following a fierce gun battle near a border village against the group Fitna al Hindustan.
In Bahawalpur, CTD averted a major attack by conducting a timely raid, killing one terrorist while three suspects fled.
Meanwhile in Lakki Marwat, three alleged TTP Tipu group terrorists were neutralized.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised CTD and police for their successful actions.
